Middle Years Summer Reading 2024: Summer 2023

Why summer reading?

Summer is an excellent time to READ. Not for a class, not for an assignment, but just read to enjoy it!

Studies show that reading over summer vacation keeps kids' brains active and reduces setbacks in reading levels, known as the "Summer Slide". Source

Have a look at the following suggestions here in the Libguide. None of this is required reading, just suggestions for something great to read during the summer. Enjoy! Mrs. Seewald.
